CPL. Robert Ray Brown Post — Frisco, Texas. Proudly serving veterans and their families since 1899. The post does not have a brick and mortar location. The post meetings are held at the Frisco Gun club on the 1st thursday of each month 1830.

Since 1968, Frisco Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8273 has been providing unique and urgently needed services that improve the lives of veterans, military personnel and their families all the while supporting positive citizen involvement for the betterment of the Frisco and surrounding communities.
All of our programs are non-political, at no cost to the veteran or family, and require no VFW-affiliation for assistance.
Our Mission
To promote and support the programs of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, to promote motorcycle safety programs, and to provide a social atmosphere for VFW members who share the same interests.

In June 2024, for its 6th consecutive year, Frisco VFW Post 8273 was recognized on a State and National Level by obtaining the “All-State” and “All-American” Post designations.
Frisco VFW’s service to veterans, their families and the community earned them the highest recognition as one of the top Posts in the United States and as an elite VFW Post in the State of Texas.
The amount of community involvement & service hours along with the amount of money Post 8273 puts back into the community, sets them far above the rest on all levels.

Award Winner
In memory of Past State Commander Robert J. "Tiger" Lyons, a former World War II POW, the Post most active in the State of Texas for promoting the POW/MIA Program will be recognized with the prestigous POW/MIA Award.
For its 3rd time, Frisco VFW Post 8273 was recognized on a State level by winning the Robert J. "Tiger" Lyons POW/MIA Award.
